Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This policy defines acceptable and prohibited uses of the Celerity Data Hub platform, including customer-deployed nodes and API access.
2. Acceptable Use
The Service is intended for:
- Educational data integration and management (Ed-Fi compatible)
- Student information system data processing
- Administrative reporting and analytics
- Authorized API integrations with educational software
3. Prohibited Use
Customers may NOT:
- Store or process data unrelated to educational operations
- Use nodes for cryptocurrency mining, torrenting, or other non-platform workloads
- Attempt to access other tenants' data or bypass tenant isolation
- Perform vulnerability scanning or penetration testing without written authorization
- Use the API to scrape or bulk-export data for unauthorized purposes
- Share credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties
- Deploy custom software on Celerity-managed nodes without approval
- Use the platform in violation of FERPA, COPPA, or applicable student privacy laws
4. Resource Limits

Celerity reserves the right to adjust resource limits with 30 days written notice. Customers with unusual workloads should contact support@celerityedu.com to discuss accommodations.
5. Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Warning notification to tenant administrator
- Temporary throttling or suspension of specific features
- Account suspension (with 48-hour notice except for security emergencies)
- Termination per Terms of Service
